CASSIE BRADFORD, M.ED., BCBA
Clinic Director / Supervisor
Cassie has over a decade of experience working with children with special needs in a variety of settings. Having always known that she wanted to work with children, she attended school to receive her Bachelors in Elementary Education. While completing her undergraduate coursework in 2002, Cassie was offered the position of line therapist providing ABA services to several young children diagnosed with autism and soon realized her true passion for working with children with special needs. While receiving supervision and training from her mentor Craig Thomas who was a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Cassie became inspired to become a BCBA herself. She worked as a line therapist and then behavior analyst intern under Dr. Thomas, during which time he provided her with valuable training in applied behavior analysis as they provided services to young children diagnosed with autism or another developmental disability. Cassie then received a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Early Intervention and took additional behavior analysis coursework through University of North Texas. Once she attained her board certification, she and business partner Renee Guidry opened Behavioral Intervention Group, an organization dedicated to helping children on the autism spectrum reach their fullest potential.
In addition to being a practitioner, Cassie has been actively involved in the regulation and/or licensure of behavior analysts in Louisiana and has worked with parents, clinicians, academics, and legislators to promote the dissemination and protection of behavioral services and those affected by behavioral services. She recently served as Vice-President for the Louisiana Behavior Analysis Association and as Chair of the Legislative Committee and Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee.
Cassie currently serves as Chair of the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board.
